You may be surprised to learn that the sale of pre-paid funeral plans in the UK is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.  We think this is a poor state of affairs; we feel strongly that advice in this area should be a regulated activity as there is considerable differentiation between the many plans on offer.
